SAY WHAT?! Wednesday

Poop Deck Problems

So I'm starting a tradition called Say What?! Wednesday. Blog posts on these days are dedicated to those things you see in the news or happen in your life that you can't help but say SAY WHAT?! to. So today, we'll start with the good ole Carnival Cruise ship line. 

I'm assuming everyone knows what happened with the Carnival Cruise ship, the Triumph. If you don't I'll give you the quick run down.

1. There was a fire in the engine room making the ship loose power.
2. Because of this loss of power, THE WORLD ENDED!!!!! Literally, toilets started overflowing, food was beginning to become scarce, and people had to sleep on the deck instead of their rooms. crazy!!!
3. These people were then stranded for days in these type conditions. Even worse. at this time I'd like to apologize to the families and passengers on the Triumph....this really really really stinks.

So what does a poor CEO do when his ship falls apart. He apologizes. However, his apology was a little....dare I say weird. Yes he does apologize for the living conditions on this ship, but this is AFTER her says how thankful he is for the staff on board the ship. for real? Don't get me wrong, having a great staff on board the ship at this time is extremely helpful but wouldn't apologizing be number one on your list of "how to make things right?"

But it gets better! Not only does this ship have problems, but shortly after this 3 other ships come down with "technical difficulties" and have to end their cruises early. THEN, Carnival Cruise makes the wonderful decision to cancel 10 cruises scheduled in May for "operational review". With their focus being on the "hotel" aspect of the ship. uh huh that's what they ALL say. 

For real. Carnival Cruise you need to take a break. GO HOME! 

And to Carnival Cruise Line I say SAY WHAT?!?!
